Sonya Dent (57) transitioned from this life to be with the LORD on January 31, 2022, at her residence in Ahoskie, NC. She was the daughter of the late Harrison and Willie Davis, Jr. Sonya received her formal education in the public schools of Hampton, VA, graduating from Bethal High School. She was a member of Soul Saving Station in Ahoskie, NC. Sonya was a homemaker who loved cooking, crocheting, singing and spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish loving memories are her husband, Steven Dent of the home; children, Steven Dent Jr (Valarie) of Hampton, VA, Deborah Pittman (Derrick) of Ahoskie, NC, Victoria Dent and Jessica Dent both of Newport News, VA.; a host of other relatives and friends. ****MASKS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING AND SERVICE****
